The laughs and chatter of family and friends
The way your clothes cling to you from the humidity
The crackling bonfire and burnt marshmallows
The mix of music drifting across the yard to where we're playing volleyball
No picture could capture the fun and the happiness that threatens to burst from my heart
And when the bonfire dies down to just a few glowing embers, the memories will
replay in my mind for a while now because these summer nights are nothing short of
Rememorable.

ReplyDeleteyes. just YES. this is exactly how i've been feeling lately. and that first picture of the campfire is just awesome. we've been having campfires too in our yard, but the township put a fire ban on for a while because it's too dry.
