It's like time never passes by fast enough while you're watching and waiting. But the moment you turn your back, time becomes a full-speed train, passing by you like a whirlwind and stopping for nobody. It's difficult for me to wrap my mind around the fact that it's already December-almost Christmas again and a month away from the new year of 2013. But even so, soon enough the foreign feeling of the word 2013 on my tongue will be just as familiar as 2012 is now. I guess that's just the way life works.
Speaking of December, we decorated our Christmas tree this past weekend. Decorating the tree is one of my favorite Christmas traditions. No matter if there is homework to finish, laundry to wash, or house to clean, we always set aside time to string the lights, hang the ornaments and don the Santa hats. It's a favorite of ours.
