lazy sunday

there's a feeling i get after church is over and we've driven home. it's sunday. i mean, to most of you, it's just a normal day. but to me, it's a lazy day. there's a sort of relaxation lingering in the air and after dinner is done and the dishes are put away the sofa seems to come to life and say "sit down a spell." on sunday, all of my projects can actually be worked on. on sunday, i just might be able to catch up on my favorite teevee shows. not to mention, it's downton abbey-day. 

there's just something about the weekends. i've been so busy lately that i have to remind myself that it's saturday; i can sleep in. and when the cleaning is done {thanks, mommy} it's free time. no obligations, except maybe working at a show in the evening, and even still, that is pleasurable. 

so far, today hasn't been so lazy. there's morning swim meets and hotel stays, and i think this is the first time i've gotten a chance to catch my breath. needless to say, there is going to be some serious relaxing going down when i get home again. but no matter what it holds, sundays are always the best.
